Dearest gentle readers, since its original release in 2020, Bridgerton has been making headlines for its realistic sex scenes. However, there has been some dispute over the newly released fourth season, with some calling it “boring” and “sexless.” Despite this, Bridgerton continues to be regularly uploaded to porn websites, obtaining millions of views.
Now that the fourth season has aired in full, we thought we’d take a look at the top 10 sexiest moments from the Bridgerton franchise because, despite what the critics say, it’s still making us very horny.
Kate’s gaze as Anthony emerges from the water - S02, E05 - "An Unthinkable Fate"
The second series of Bridgerton openly embraces Pride and Prejudice influences, and in one memorable moment, it pays homage to the iconic scene from the 1995 BBC miniseries in which Mr Darcy, played by Colin Firth, steps out of a lake in a drenched white shirt.
In Bridgerton, Anthony climbs back onto the dock after falling into the water, where his completely soaked-through white shirt echoes that of its predecessor, and Kate cannot keep her eyes off him.
The Bathtub Scene everyone’s been talking about - S04,E08 - “Dance in the country”
Although much of the fourth season of Bridgerton doesn’t focus on the sexual relationship between Benedict and Sophie, it would have been impossible to release an entire season without offering up something for us to salivate over.
Sophie shoves Benedict against the bathtub, sending water splashing over the edge. He then tells her to turn around, and she complies, turning her back to him before reaching backwards to pleasure him.

While staying at an inn on route to Simon’s family home, the tension built up over episodes explodes, and Daphne finally confronts the Duke about his indifference towards her. This results in a passionate encounter where they are both forced to reveal their true feelings for each other.

THAT Carriage Scene - S03,E04 - “Old Friends”
I remember practically screaming at the television when Colin knocked on Penelope's carriage in season 3.
After weeks of battling his feelings, Colin races after her carriage to finally reveal his true feelings for her. This leads to an intimate moment with the couple where Colin prioritises Penelope’s pleasure before almost having sex on route to the Bridgerton house.
Their intense connection here results in Colin immediately proposing to Penelope, and although their later sex scenes were perhaps more revealing, the passion between the actors in this scene was an undeniable turn-on.
