Did you know that there are alternate ways for men to orgasm that don’t involve ejaculation at all?
We can’t speak for every man’s ability to achieve every type of orgasm, but contrary to popular belief, there are six different kinds of orgasms available to men.
So what are they, and how can you have them?
Ejaculation - The classic, the old faithful, the pump-pump squirt in under five seconds if you’re nasty. Ejaculation is the most common type of male orgasm and the kind we’re most accustomed to seeing referenced in popular culture (Scary Movie, anyone?). However, did you know that only 60% of men are capable of ejaculating every time they have sex? This occurs when sperm travels from the testicles to the urethra, and semen is then pushed out of the penis as the pelvic muscles contract during orgasm.
Pelvic - Practising pelvic floor exercises is an excellent way to not only achieve pelvic orgasms, but also to increase the intensity of your orgasms and overall control over your erection. Although pelvic orgasms may not feel as intense as ejaculating, they can be achieved with minimal physical touch and feel like “internal pulsations radiating through the lower body”, making them a subtle option for arousing yourself.
Prostate - We appreciate that for some men there is a hard boundary on this one because it traditionally requires anal penetration. However, it’s also possible to stimulate the prostate by giving direct attention to the perineum - the area between your testicles and rectum. This is a great way to expand your sexual horizons and allegedly feel unparalleled levels of pleasure.
Dry - Rumour has it, men don’t actually need to cum to climax. A dry orgasm is essentially the same as an ejaculatory orgasm, just without the ejaculation itself. You will experience the same pulsating, physical sensation, but without the messiness. Usually, this allows for faster recovery and creates the opportunity for multiple male orgasms.
Blended - Is there anything better than a combined climax? If you’re looking to pleasure your partner in every area, why not try stimulating their penis and their prostate simultaneously? Taking your time and ‘edging’ your partner can help to increase the intensity of their orgasm.
Multiple - Although this is rare and tends to be a more common occurrence for women, it is absolutely not impossible for men to have multiple orgasms. This is usually more successful if your partner has a dry orgasm first, but ultimately, the key to achieving this is perseverance. Rather than taking a break after your partner cums, keep things going, and you’re sure to be surprised by the results!
So ladies and gentlemen, are you willing to go the extra mile for your partners?
Share your success stories in the comments and tell us what made it work for you.
We hope putting in the extra bedroom hours will leave you both feeling supremely satisfied!
