5 Positions for dominant women in the bedroom

Would you consider yourself a dominant woman? Whether you are or aren’t, there’s always room for exploring in the bedroom, and given the pervasive orgasm gap, the time has long come for women to take charge of their own pleasure.

Here are the top five sex positions that put you at the very centre of your sex life.

Rocking Horse
This intimate position puts you in control of the rhythm and allows for ease of movement. Keep it up close and personal, or lean back and bring out your inner exhibitionist!
Pros: Allows you to tease multiple erogenous zones simultaneously.
Cons: Sore legs! It might be difficult to sustain this position for an extended period.

The Lock and Key
Shouting out to my pillow princesses - you don’t have to be on top to take charge. You can command the speed of his thrusts from underneath by locking your legs around his hips.
Pros: Whether you like it fast and hard or slow and passionate, this position is versatile.
Cons: You may need to rely on your partner to support your grip.

The Kiss of Life
As far as dominant positions go, does anything beat sitting on your partner’s face? I’m not convinced.
Lean back against a wall while your partner supports you from underneath, or sit on the edge of the bed and enjoy the view!
Pros: There’s the potential for double the pleasure. Why not try oral and manual stimulation simultaneously?
Cons: Oral is not for everyone; some women may find this position uncomfortable.

The Hot Seat
This position is not for the faint-hearted, but as your partner is in a submissive position beneath you, it really allows you to bring out your dominant side.
Pros: This is a good one for anyone looking to experiment with anal sex, as it allows you to set the terms.
Cons: This is a challenging position to sustain, so it's important to be gentle with your partner and take things slowly.

The Bridge
Here, your partner is focused on maintaining their position, allowing you to climb aboard and have fun! Balance on your toes, rock backwards and forwards, and why not spice things up by using a vibrator at the same time?
Pros: You can use your momentum to adjust speed and depth.
Cons: Flexibility and height differences may cause issues here.

Would you give any of these positions a go? Let us know your thoughts!
