When I see a sex toy valued at over £100, it makes my stomach turn - and not in a good way.
Immediately, I'm full of doubt that it can live up to its wild description, claiming to give you two orgasms in one go, as Lelo's Soraya 2 claims to do. I worry it will be a dud and a colossal waste of money. And there's nothing more miserable than wasting your hard-earned cash and being left sexually frustrated at the same time.
However, let me tell you right now, if you envy pigs for being able to have 30-minute orgasms (yes, this is a thing), this toy got me pretty darn close to that.
While it didn't create the orgasm we all dream of lasting as long as it does for porkers, it did and does allow me to climax pretty much on repeat during use.
You see, it basically ticks all the boxes at once and leaves no job undone - unlike the men who can't locate the clitoris despite years of watching porn.
It penetrates the vagina and massages the clitoris at the same time, ladies! The longer section of the toy is inserted into the vagina while the shorter part is used to hold and massage against the clitoris during penetration.
Priced on Lelo's website at £199, it is a more high-end and luxurious rabbit vibrator.
It states that it "offers optimised dual-stimulation for both clitoral and G-spot orgasm, on a whole new level".
Take it from someone who has tried more sex toys than had actual sex - a tragedy - it does exactly what is promised on the tin, and it's something a lot of brands promise but don't live up to.
It promises to deliver the "perfect combination" of "power and precision", which it truly does.
Its design and shape mean it's comfortable when inside you and also rubbing against your clitoris, giving you maximum pleasure as it works to arouse both areas at once equally. In all positions, it felt arousing.
When designing a toy to please multiple areas, brands often excel in one aspect but fall short in another.
For example, many brands will make only one part of the toy vibrate, whereas with the Soraya 2, both sections feature different vibrations and at an array of speeds.
It's actually quite the overwhelming experience once you've got the lube out, and aroused yourself enough to insert the toy, as the clitoral stimulation immediately gets to work to create a sensation, to be perfectly honest, your own hand or another human could never.
In all complete honesty, it's the one toy I've used that has allowed me to have multiple orgasms in one sitting, and I think it's down to the fact of how overwhelming it is - and in the best way.
After I came around from what felt like 10 climaxes in a row, I stared at my ceiling, seeing stars as my mind was blown. As if I'd emerged from my own porn scene and we'd shot it perfectly in one, flashbacks of all my prior orgasms flashed before my eyes, and the realisation hit that not much could compare to what the Soraya could do for me.
As it targets both areas so effortlessly, it doesn't actually require much work from you, so it's easier to get into a relaxed mental state to sit back, relax and let the orgasm naturally happen.
And ladies, if you have long nails and can't enjoy the natural pleasure of using your hands to masturbate, then this toy is the perfect replacement.
In conclusion, the only downside to the Soraya 2 is the sad reality that nobody will ever be able to live up to a massager and dildo in one - or at least be able to vibrate like one.
It's 5/5 stars from me and will 100% be a repurchase when the time comes.
