Why I can’t resist ‘tradwife’ porn: "I can't help how much it turns me on"

Typing in ‘free use wife’ on PornHub, I accidentally stumbled upon tradwife porn - controversially, I can’t stop cuming to it.

The video I came across featured a wife and husband partaking in rough free use sex while the woman baked bread in a flowery 1950’s style dress.
A "trad wife" (traditional wife) is a married woman who embraces 1950s-style gender roles, focusing on homemaking, child-rearing, and submitting to her husband, who acts as the sole breadwinner.
Popularised on social media, this lifestyle often involves cooking from scratch, maintaining an immaculate home, and rejecting modern feminist workplace equality in favour of domesticity.
Despite dubbing myself a progressive woman, I can’t get enough of the degrading sex, spotless kitchens, and submissive women pleasing their breadwinners.
Something about how submissive tradwife porn is just gets me going - and I’m not alone.
In March 2026, Alice Porter wrote about tradwife porn for Cosmopolitan after coming across thousands of women gushing over it on TikTok.
According to Pornhub, ‘tradwife’ porn is on the rise — with searches for the category up 72% in 2024.
And yet, while this retrogressive scene reeks of male supremacy and patriarchal home structures, women make up as much as 27% of the people watching this type of porn. And it’s not, as you might expect, older people with more traditional views and upbringings — people aged 18 to 24 make up 32% of viewers, closely followed by those aged 25 to 34, according to the porn site.
This is happening alongside the rise of conservative, anti-feminist ideology in both the US and the UK.
In fact, nearly half (47%) of Brits believe that women’s equality has gone ‘far enough’, according to research by IPSOS.
New research also found that Gen Z males are twice as likely as baby boomers to believe wives should obey husbands.
Do you think it’s hot or too belittling?
